Students will learn how to conduct detailed risk assessments, develop contingency plans, and coordinate with safety agencies.
The module also addresses guest welfare, including accessibility, crowd control, emergency response, and health considerations. Through case studies and scenario-based exercises, learners will understand how to balance safety compliance with creating a welcoming and enjoyable guest experience.
This module equips learners with the skills and knowledge to effectively plan, coordinate, and execute the logistical aspects of events, ensuring that every supplier, delivery, and schedule aligns seamlessly with the overall event plan. Students will learn how to build a master logistics schedule that integrates transport planning, supplier timelines, venue access procedures, and operational flow.
The focus will be on preventing bottlenecks, avoiding schedule clashes, and managing the critical path so that equipment, décor, catering, AV, and other event components are delivered and installed in the correct sequence.

This weekend school provides learners with a unique opportunity to gain insights from leading professionals in the events sector through interactive panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and networking opportunities. Across two days, students will deepen their industry knowledge, explore real-world challenges and innovations, and build professional connections to support their career development.
This module provides learners with an independent, first-hand opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world industry practice. Students will be assigned a large-scale, professionally organised event to attend on their own. Prior to the visit, they will receive a structured logbook to guide their observations, focusing on operational processes, audience experience, and behind-the-scenes activities.
The aim is for students to critically analyse the event’s execution, considering both the visible customer experience and the unseen coordination required for its success. Upon completion, students will submit their completed logbook and a reflective analysis connecting their observations to industry standards and best practices.
